Software installation offers from TrialPay, Superpoints, Paymentwall, etc. are moderately high paying, with rewards generally ranging from 20-40 Superpoints/Swagbucks and, best of all, it usually takes very little time compared to completing surveys and watching videos (often several minutes for just 1 point).

Installing adware-ridden software is something that scares a lot of people, due to the nature of the software (and hence its high payout). This guide, however, will guide you through installing software, earning your points, and deleting the software, leaving nothing behind.

Step 1 – Install Sandboxie

Sandboxie is a free piece of software that essentially contains an application in its own space, and prevents it from harming your system. We will be installing our adware using Sandboxie.

Step 2 – Find an offer

With Sandboxie installed, you are now ready to install your software! Simply find an offer involving “downloading and installing” software, and click on it. For this example, we will use Webplayer from RadiumOne.

WARNING: Make sure the website you are directed to matches the offer you clicked on. If it doesn’t don’t bother with it, as you most likely won’t get points.

Step 3 – Download the software

All of these offers usually have a big download button. Click on it to download, but DO NOT RUN THE INSTALLER.

Step 4 – Installing the software (using Sandboxie)

Right click on the install file, and click on ‘Run Sandboxed’. You will then be prompted to select which sandbox to use. Select ‘DefaultBox’.

At this stage, the installer will open. If you hover over the title, you will notice a yellow border. This means the installer is sandboxed, and you are safe. Proceed with the installation as normal. The installer might need administrator rights. If this prompt appears, double click on it to grant it, you will still be perfectly safe though.

After installation, your browser will open a web page to say that the installation done. Unless otherwise stated by your offer, you should be done and will receive your points soon.

Step 5 – Removing the software

You will now need to remove the software because you (presumably) do not want it. Open Sandboxie, right click on “DefaultBox” and click “Delete Contents”. Then click on the ‘Delete Contents’ button and the software will be removed completely.

Congratulations, you are now done and hopefully have a lot of new points!

For even further protection, you may choose to run the entire installation inside a VM (such as VirtualBox). That way, you will not need Sandboxie and you can simply revert your system back to a ‘clean’ state with snapshots.

 tl;dr Use Sandboxie or a VM to install software, so you can delete everything instantly.

Open the .sc2 map with any MPQ program, such as MPQMaster or Ladik’s MPQ Editor
Delete (attributes)
Extract the files named “MapScript.galaxy” and “Triggers”
Go into enUS.SC2Data/LocalizedData and extract GameStrings.txt and TriggerStrings.txt

***Triggers***
Open Triggers with Notepad
Ctrl+F and find </root>
Place the contents of rootTriggers.txt above </root>
Go to the bottom of Triggers
Place the contents of elementTriggers.txt above </TriggerData>
Save Triggers

***GameStrings.txt***
Open the extracted GameStrings.txt
Go to the bottom
Paste the contents of the cheatpack’s GameStrings.txt below the last line
Save GameStrings.txt

Open the extracted TriggerStrings.txt

Ctrl+F for “trigger gt_” and paste variablesMapScript.txt above the first result

Open the .sc2 map with an MPQ program again (or switch back if you didn’t exit)
Replace MapScript.galaxy and Triggers with the ones that you edited/saved
Go into enUS.SC2Data/LocalizedData and replace GameStrings.txt and TriggerStrings.txt with the ones you edited/saved
Go ahead and exit the MPQ program; you’re done! (For those of you with experience in Warcraft 3 editing, the Flush function does not seem to work on SC2 maps. Perhaps we’ll need to figure out how to make this work)
